Spotlight provides a birds eye view of your customer’s engagement in the Customer Portal.
Primary Audience: Administrators, Salespeople
Spotlight can be utilized in gaining insight into your customers and their Platform activity. This insight allows salespeople to have more meaningful conversations when it comes to products that customers may be searching or requesting quotes for, and their activity across multiple business units. Salespeople will only have access to view the activity of their assigned customers.
- Note: Customers are not actively aware that Internal Users can see their Platform activity.
The Spotlight widget is located in two places within the Team Hub: on the Dashboard and in the
Spotlight subpage within the Clients tab.
In the Dashboard view, internal users can get a quick glance at the most recently active customers. Clicking on the small icons next to a customer’s name will show the dates the actions occurred and details of their actions, including the following:
- Products that were searched
- Quotes requested
- Grain offers created
The “See All Engagement” link at the bottom of the widget will route users to the Spotlight subpage of the Clients tab. This page offers a more detailed view of the information shown in the Dashboard widget. From here, users are able to apply filters to customer Platform activity or use the search bar to find a specific customer.
Available filters include:
- Time range
- Location
- Salespeople
- Platform activities
Example:
If a salesperson wanted to see products that their clients were looking for they could use the Salesperson filter to see only clients that are assigned to them and then use the Activity filter to narrow down to Product Searches.
