Internal Resources allow your team to store, organize, and access important documents in one central location within the Inbox. This makes it easy for internal users to find what they need and share those resources with customers when appropriate.
Located on the Inbox page under the Internal Resources section, this feature helps reduce time spent searching for files and ensures your team is always working from the most up-to-date materials.
How do Internal Resources Work?
Internal Resources are organized into folders that are managed by Admin users. These folders can be customized to control which internal users have access, ensuring that the right teams see the right information.
Once a document is uploaded, users with access can:
- View and download the file
- Share it internally
- Send it to customers via Inbox messages or other communication methods
When a new resource is added to a folder, users with access will receive an email notification so they can stay up to date.
Creating a Folder
To create a folder, follow these steps:

Go to Inbox → Internal Resources
- Click Manage Resources

Click the folder icon
- Enter a Folder Name
- Select which users should have access using the Visibility dropdown
- Folder access can be updated at anytime as teams or responsibilities change.

Click Create Folder
Uploading a document
To upload a document to Internal Resources, follow the steps below:
- Go to the the Inbox page → Internal Resources
- Click Manage Resources

Click Add Resource

Select the appropriate folder

Enter a Resource Name

Click Attach Files and choose your document
- (Optional) Add details in the Description field

Click Share Resource
