Smart Product Suggestions

Use Smart Product Suggestions to enhance sales opportunities of available Products.

Primary Audience: Administrators

The Smart Product Suggestions feature allows you to show your internal Salespeople alternative or additional complementary products when creating Quotes and Orders from the Team Hub.

Please reach out to your Partnership Manager for the .xlsx template to use when uploading the Smart Product Suggestions document, as well as guidance on completing the template.

To upload the Smart Product Suggestions .xlsx document follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the Admin tab of the Team Hub.
  2. Click on “Upload Smart Product Suggestions” under the “Admin Actions” widget.
    1. The most recent upload will be the file used for Smart Product Suggestions within the Platform.
  3. Select .xlsx file to be uploaded.
    1. The date of the last upload will be displayed in the widget.

Reference the following guidance for assistance when entering information into the Cells of the template:

  1. Columns of the Template:
    1. Location - Identify which location the current row applies to (Use the ERP location IDs)
      1. Note: Leave the Location field blank if the smart suggestion is to apply to all active locations (this allows only one row per product to be needed in the file, when the smart suggestion applies to all locations)
    2. Selected Product - The ERP Product ID associated with the product for which alternatives and add-ons are to be displayed
      1. Note: For Tronia, this will be the Product Unit ID. You will need an additional row for each unit.
    3. Alternative Product - The ERP Product ID associated with the alternative product to be displayed
    4. Add-On Product - The ERP Product ID associated with the additional product to be displayed
    5. Why recommend? - A message that management would like to accompany the product suggestion
  2. Additional Information:
    1. The upload file should contain only a single sheet.
    2. Only one entry per cell may be used.
    3. Only one Alternative Product or one Add-On Product may be used per row.
      1. More than one Alternative or Add-On can be added to a product, but they must be entered on different rows.
