Easily keep your organization’s Elevator Hours updated within the Platform.
Primary Audience: Admins
Admins have the ability to conveniently manage a key touchpoint in your organization’s grain business by easily displaying Elevator Hours within the Platform. The ability to upload elevator hours within the Team Hub keeps your customers well informed throughout the year, especially during the busy harvest season. Your customers will see the elevator hours displayed for each location in the Commodity Prices widget on the Customer Portal Dashboard. The hours update once the new file is successfully uploaded. This eliminates any delay in getting the information available to your customers.
Below are the steps to upload your elevator hours using an .xlsx file:
- Navigate to the Team Hub > Admin page
- Within the Admin Actions tile, click on the Elevator Hours uploader
- Select the .xlsx file from your computer
- It is also possible to to drag and drop the file from your computer onto the uploader.
Once a file is uploaded, you will see the last updated date shown in the uploader widget for easy visibility.
There is also a quick selection button within the uploader widget to clear the current hours from the Platform. Once cleared, a new .xlsx file will need to be uploaded in order for hours to be displayed within the Customer Portal.
It is recommended that your organization establishes an internal process for keeping the elevator hours upload accurate. As an example, a process could be maintaining a folder where the most recent upload is stored and labeled so that those responsible for updating the hours are able to access the most recent file uploaded.
Please note the following conditions required for the file to upload successfully:
- The uploader requires an .xlsx file
- Location ID (Column B) is the location ID from your ERP
- If you do not have access to the location ID, it may be left blank, as long as the Location Name (Column A) matches exactly with the name of the location in the ERP.
- Columns A-C are required to stay consistent with the template example
- The rest of the columns will display any text as it is typed in the cells.
- The Date columns (Columns E-K) may be left empty, if your goal is to only show the hours in the Platform. (This is helpful if you do not want to update it weekly.)
- Similarly, the Location Announcement column (Column D) can be left empty.
- The uploader will not accept multiple rows having the same location.
- It will only upload the first row of the information for a location.

- Row 2 in the template serves as a guide. Remove the information before entering your organization’s elevator hours information.
