From the Energy tile in the Customer Portal, customers have the ability to request a delivery to their tank, request service for their tank, or request a price check on a specific product.
Note: This is only available with the Energy package. Customers will need to have the Energy Business Unit enabled on their account to access the Energy tile and these action buttons.
Price Check
To request a Price Check from the Customer Portal the customer will need to:
- Click “Price Check” on any tab of the Energy tile in the Customer Portal.
- Select the tank they would like to receive a price check for from their list of energy tanks.
- If the customer does not have energy tanks attached to their account, they can request a price check by selecting a product from the drop down menu.
- The tank information will be automatically populated, including the location, tank size, and the product configured for the tank.
- They will enter the current tank percentage.
- Then select if they want to fill the tank or request a custom amount.
- If they select to ask for a custom amount, they will not be able to request more than the tanks usable capacity.
- They can select if they need delivery the same day or if they’d like to schedule for later.
- Then they can add any helpful commentary in the Comments box at the bottom.
- Click “Request Price” to submit.
- The customer will see a confirmation screen stating “Thank you, we will be in touch shortly”.
This will send a message to your team to notify you of this Price Check request. You can then communicate with the customer to complete the sale.
Once a Price Check is submitted, you will see it on the Energy tab under Price Checks. Here you can see the customer information, the product, quantity, and delivery desired, as well as the tank information.
You can leave internal comments on the Price Check to note the actions that were taken with the request.
To receive notifications for Price Checks, add your email address under Energy Tank Delivery Notifications in the Admin > Locations settings for the location(s) you would like to receive notifications for.
Request Service
All customers will see the Request Service button. However they will not be able to complete the service request unless they have energy tanks attached to their account.
To request service a customer will need to:
- Click “Request Service” on any tab of the Energy tile in the Customer Portal.
- Select the tank that needs service from the drop down menu.
- Provide commentary in the “Description of work or services needed” box.
- Click “Request Service” to complete the request.
Once the service request is submitted you can find it on the Energy tab in the Team Hub under the Service Requests tab. You can click open a Service Request to view details as well as print and download the request.
To receive notifications about Service Requests, add your email address under Energy Tank Service Notifications on the Admin > Locations tab for all the locations you would like to receive notifications for.
Request Delivery
All customers will see the Request Delivery button. However they will not be able to complete the service request unless they have energy tanks attached to their account.
To request a delivery, customers will need to:
- Click on “Request Delivery” on any tab of the Energy til in the Customer Portal.
- Select the tank they would like to request delivery for. The tank information will populate on the delivery modal.
- Enter the current tank percentage.
- Select if they want to fill the tank or request a custom amount. If a custom amount is selected, the quantity box will open up to allow the customer to enter the quantity.
- Note: You can configure a minimum delivery request amount. If configured, a message will display saying deliveries under this amount may be subject to additional fees and the customer will not be able to submit the request. To set up or alter this minimum, reach out to the Partner Enablement Team.
- Add any comments they would like to in the Comments section.
- Click “Request Delivery” to submit the request.
Once the request is submitted, your team will receive a notification about the requested delivery. You can then work internally to complete the request with the customer.
Note: There is additional functionality available to post the delivery requests directly into your AgVantage ERP as fuel calls. This is not available with other integrations.
To receive the notification email, add your email address under Energy Tank Delivery Notifications for the locations you would like to receive notifications for on the Admin > Locations tab.
Note: You must be an Admin or Super Admin to setup notification emails.
