Utilize Business Intel to build reports and set goals for yourself and your team.
Primary Audience: Administrators
Business Intel is a powerful analytics feature set that enables you to:
- Easily view metrics based on product, location, department, and more to optimize your company’s performance
- Set and track organizational goals and keep your team executing in the same direction
- Empower all your leaders to make data-driven decisions–no BI analyst needed
When first navigating to the Business Intel tab, you will land on the Summary page. All reports and goals that have been specified will be displayed on this page for easy viewing. Reports and Goals must have the Summary Page toggle enabled for them to be visible on this page.
The following actions can be done with Reports and Goals:
Reports
The Reports page displays all reports that are set to be visible to you, and those you have created. Visibility for each report is designated during the report creation process. Easily view report details by clicking into a specific report.
Follow the steps below to create a new report:
- Click “Create Report” in the upper right corner of the page
- Use the Report Name field to give the report an accurate and relevant name
- Assign the report visibility by selecting the necessary Internal User names from the drop down
- Optional: Toggle on “Show on Summary Page” if you would like it to be displayed on the Summary page
- Select the relevant data sets from the list of options
- Set how you would like to summarize the data
- Click “Save Report”
Goals
The Goals page displays all goals that are visible to you. Like with reports, visibility for each goal is designated during the report creation process, and the details of each goal can be viewed by clicking into a specific report.
Follow the steps below to create a new Goal:
- Click “Create Goal” found in the upper right corner of the main Goals page
- Enter an accurate and relevant name into the Goal Name field
- Select the organization level that the Goal is tailored to (Corporate, Location, or Salesperson)
- Note: If the goal is for an individual salesperson, they will have access to view it from their Team Hub to easily track their progress
- Assign the goal visibility by selecting the necessary Internal User names from the drop down
- Optional: Check the “Show on Summary Page” box if you would like it to be displayed on the Summary page
- Select the metric to be tracked from the Goal Type dropdown, and check if the goal should be measured as value or percent change
- Use the Data section to determine any specifics that should be tracked
- Set the target amount and time period for the goal
- Select set reminder and choose “monthly” or “weekly” if you would like to have reminders sent for the goal you are creating on a monthly or weekly basis
- Click “Save Goal”
