Key Item:
More flexible financing at your customers’ fingertips
For partners who’ve implemented a white-labeled financing program, we’ve pulled the loan application process into the Customer Portal, so now customers applying for loans can finish the application process in-house, instead of having to re-route to an external website.
Other updates include:
-
Ability for customers to select variable rate financing option
Ready to add this financing program to your platform? Reach out to your Partnership Manager today! Already connected? We'll switch you over to the in-portal application flow soon - contact your Partnership Manager with questions.
Workflow updates:
More control over your internal portal roll-out
-
You’re now able to add internal teammates to the Sales Hub without having to send them an invite to the portal.
-
This is great for partners who are rolling out business units individually - now you can add your internal users, but send your invites when you’re ready to bring that particular business unit online. (Historically, an invite had to be sent for every new user added).
-
Also great for all company comms - so you can use the portal for internal marketing sends, without having to invite everyone to the portal
Add additional contract terms to your agronomy contracts → Partners with Agronomy Business Unit
-
If an agronomy order is placed that has an associated contract, we’re going to include an “Additional Contract Terms'' link on the order for the salesperson to fill out.
-
If comments are added in this field, those comments will pull through and display on the contract that the customer signs.
Other details:
-
More flexibility when displaying prices to customers and internal teams
-
Previously, the logic for displaying prices in the portal was very straightforward - prices can either be turned ON for internal teams and customers, or prices are turned OFF for internal teams and customers.
-
For partners who don’t want to share prices with customers but do want to share pricing with internal teams, we’re adding that configuration option.
-
Talk to your Partnership Manager about enabling this option.
-
-
Customers can add funds to prepay without an associated unpaid booking being created in the ERP → Agvance partners
-
Previously, when customers used the “Add Funds to Prepay” option to add funds to Unapplied Cash (from the Balances page or Bookings page), an unpaid booking was also created within Agvance.
-
Going forward, customers will be able to use the “Add Funds to Prepay” option, and we will push those funds directly into Unapplied Cash.
-
This transaction will show up on the payments report, but will not create an unpaid booking within Agvance.
-
-
Improving the look of emails received by Outlook users → Partners with the Marketing package
-
We’re doing some work behind the scenes to help our Outlook users have a better experience when receiving emails via Outlook.
-
-
A better view of harvest progress for your customers → Partners with Grain Business Unit
-
We are going to display total bushels (as opposed to average bushels), in the summary table at the top of the Scale Tickets page in both the Customer Portal and Sales Hub.
-
This will be helpful during harvest to keep track of progress and as proof of yield for crop insurance purposes.
-
-
Streamline your teams’ follow-up activities → Partners with CRM package
-
For partners who export reports from the Admin > Notes page to stay on top of sales team activities and to guide follow-up items for the week, we’re adding customer contact information (phone and email address) as a column to the exported sheet, making it easier to reach out directly to the account if needed based on the report.
-
-
Smarter logic when orders are created for customers without an assigned ERP ID
-
When an order or a quote is generated for a customer who doesn’t have an assigned ERP ID, we’ll show an error message indicating that the customer doesn’t have a valid ID.
-
-
Specify how you want salesperson information represented in ERP records → Agvance partners
-
Today, when info from AgVend flows back to Agvance, we’re feeding the assigned Salesperson ID into Agvance as the person who created that record, when in reality it could be someone besides the assigned Salesperson who created the record.
-
Going forward, we’re adding a configuration, so Agvance partners can specify whether they want the assigned Salesperson ID or the ID of the Salesperson who created the record to feed back to Agvance (this can also be specified by business unit).
-
Talk to your Partnership Manager about setting this up.
-
-
Easily see total contract amount → Partners with Agronomy Business Unit
-
Previously, we surfaced quantity and unit price on agronomy contracts, but didn’t surface total dollar amounts for that contract. Going forward, we’ll display this value.
-
-
Surface data more quickly on the Payments page
-
We’re adding “yesterday” and “today” as easy options to select when filtering for date ranges on the Sales Hub > Admin > Payments page.
-
-
Increased visibility into assigned Salesperson
-
We recently added the assigned Salesperson to the Quotes table, now we’re adding the assigned Salesperson to the Clients table as well.
-
-
Small change to Agvance order logic → Agvance partners
-
When a seed product is added to a regular (i.e. non-seed) booking, we’re updating the logic so that the order / booking will flow back into Agvance as a booking.
-
-
More accurate BI goals and reports for partners using basis-fixed settlement contracts → Agvance partners with Grain Business Unit and BI package
-
For Agvance partners with deferred payment and basis-fixed settlement contracts enabled (aka. credit sale contracts), we’ll now be excluding settlement contracts from BI reporting and goals in the “other” category. This is to ensure the bushels do not get double counted from the grain contract and the associated settlement contract after the settlement was made.
-
-
Remove limits on how many account IDs can be added to a portal profile
-
We’re removing the limit on how many account IDs can be added to a portal profile. Going forward, admins can add as many account IDs as needed to a client’s portal profile, ensuring they’ve got needed visibility into individual farms’ portal activity, and subsequently all info associated with all relevant account IDs that roll up.
-
-
Include AgWorld and Agrian plan PDFs in Blend Ticket Orders → Partners with Agronomy Business Unit and an Agrian or Agworld integration
-
Going forward, we’ll bring in AgWorld and Agrian plan PDFs on orders with the order type of blend ticket.
-
-
More opportunities for customers to reconcile records → Partners with Agronomy Business Unit
-
We’re adding “field name” as a field that displays (when available) when exporting invoices and statements from the Customer Portal as an Excel file.
-
This will make it easier for customers to reconcile with other farm management records.
-
-
Standardizing where signatures show up for grain contracts → Partners with Grain Business Unit
-
Going forward, buyer signatures will display on the left, seller signatures will display on the right.
-
-
Sales Hub payment authorizations for credit card and other payment methods → Partners with Payments package
-
We already have payment authorizations for Sales Hub payments made via ACH (confirming that you have permission to make the ACH transaction on behalf of the customer).
-
Going forward, we’re also adding this payment authorization for transactions you make on behalf of your customers via credit card and other payment methods.
-
-
Small fix to Advanced Filters on the Clients page
-
No more accidentally closing this filter with a stray button click. Going forward, only clicking “Apply Filter”, “Close Filter”, or “X” will close this window.
-
